This requires the conduction of clinical trials on humans in the controlled environment of the hospital. The most common applicationat the Orthopaedic Clinic of the University Medicine of Rostock, is the examination of safety, durability and compatibility of implants, thereby making a significant contribution to the quality of life of our patients.

The clinical research department develops concepts of clinical trials being organized to a high scientific standard and serves to a well prepared operation flow for our patients.
